High Voltage Electrical Protection Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities With:

1.     Familiar with transmission & distribution substation equipments and has experience to carry out all tests related (primary & Secondary) S/S equipments.

a.    Power transformers up to 380Kv (Two wind, Three wind & Auto transformers). Electrical & Mechanical wise.

b.     Over head lines protection & schemes for different voltage levels 13.8Kv, 33Kv, 132Kv, 220Kv & 380Kv.

c.  Underground cable feeder protection (Pilot differential scheme).

d.     Bus Bar protection schemes (High independence & low independence) and breaker failure scheme.

e.       Substation auscillaries and battery & battery charger systems.

2.     Capable to deal with schematics both single line & 3 line schematics and carry out necessary modification at site.

Instruments transformers (C.T & V.T & CCVT) and its use and selection.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERINECE

1.     Bachelor degree In Electrical Engineering (BE).

2.     Good organizational skills.

3.     Excellent command on Arabic & English language.

4.     Computer Knowledge.

5.     Honesty, Devotion, Leadership, Professionalism.

At least 8 to 10 years field experience.

High Voltage Electrical Testing Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities With:

Testing & Commissioning of relay & control panels modification of protection schemes to match the protection scheme of the remote ends. Preparing the control cable size & quality including termination schedule for whole substations.

1.     Power transformers tests for different voltage levels from 13.8kv up to 380kv for both Mechanical & Electrical functions.

2.     Switch gear high voltage tests for different levels.

3.     Power cables H.V. tests by using ULF test equipments.

4.     switch gear tests (interlocking, C.B, disconnecting & Earthing switches timing tests, Bus Bars & C.B contacts & joints conductivity tests).

5.     Familiar with substation operation sequences, controls and interlocking & energization sequence.

6.     Butteries & battery charger testing & commissioning.

7.     Measuring equipment calibration such as (Ammeter, Voltmeter Kw Hm, MW, MVAR & transducers (Power, voltage & connect).

8.     Familiar with GIS substations & capable to deal with Gas filling equipment & Gas tests.

9.     Indoor & outdoor C.T’s, V.T’s, CCVT’s & surge arrester

AC & DC Distribution board’s tests & function tests.  

QUALIFICATION & EXPERINECE

1.     Bachelor degree In Electrical Engineering (BE).

2.     Good organizational skills.

3.     Excellent command on English language Arabic is plus.

4.     Computer Literate.

5.     Honesty, Devotion, Leadership, Professionalism.

At least 8 to 10 years field experience.
